| dc.description | Diante do aumento do setor industrial, a demanda por estruturas de aço cresceu, desta forma, para suprir as necessidades e expandir a área útil de determinado espaço sem a necessidade de tornar maior o tamanho da propriedade, desenvolveu-se a estrutura metálica mezanino. Sendo, assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi definir e explanar o processo de elaboração de um projeto de um mezanino metálico em perfil W laminado fabricado em aço ASTM A 572 grau 50 nas dimensões 18 x 10 x 3 metros para uma sobrecarga de 500 kgf/m², incluindo o seu piso wall, com base nos perfis disponibilizados pela empresa Gerdau Açominas, mediante o uso do software comercial SCIA Engineer, sob a devida licença disponível para estudantes. Na metodologia foi apresentada a escolha do painel wall, bem como o software utilizado, além das considerações necessárias para o devido dimensionamento do mezanino, incluindo o cálculo misto, assim como as definições das ligações da estrutura dimensionada, tudo em conformidade com as normas regulamentadoras pertinentes. Por fim, concluiu-se que a estrutura metálica proposta levou a um projeto interessante para o estudo proposto, mediante resultado eficiente e esteticamente agradável. | dc.description.abstract | Given the increase in the industrial sector, the demand for steel structures has grown, thus, to meet the needs and expand the usable area of a given space without the need to make the property bigger, the mezzanine metal structure was developed. Thus, the objective of this work was to define and explain the elaboration process of a project of a metallic mezzanine in rolled W profile made of ASTM A 572 grade 50 steel in the dimensions 18 x 10 x 3 meters for an overload of 500 kgf/m², including its floor wall, based on the profiles provided by the company Gerdau Açominas, through the use of the commercial software SCIA Engineer, under the proper license available for students. The methodology presented the choice of the wall panel, as well as the software used, and the necessary considerations for the due dimensioning of the mezzanine, including the mixed calculation, as well as the definitions of the connections of the dimensioned structure, all in accordance with the relevant regulatory standards. Finally, it was concluded that the proposed steel structure led to an interesting project for the proposed study, with efficient and aesthetically pleasing results.
