Uma representação polônica pela materialidade

Abstract

This text expose the results of research work in Program of Pós-Graduation in History of the Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS), Professional Master. The objective of this work is the organization of part of the documentary collections, compendium of publications such as books, periodicals, printed and handwritten documents, photos, audiovisuals, furniture, among others, relationeted to the Polish immigration, Polonii and Polish culture, which until now are part of the personal collection of the couple Vanda Stolarski Hamerski e André Hamerski. This research sought to record some of the memories that contributed to the identity formation of the couple, memories of their ancestors and other polonicos so many. Equaly search understand how they preserved and (re)meant such representations of identity. The methodology of work was based on the precepts of oral history and in the dialectical analysis of documentation and historiography. The methodology of the workfield (the organization of the collections) based itself on the archival reflections developed by the archivology, with a different look due to the empiricism of the accumulation. The final product consists in the problematization of the collections of textual / iconographic documents and proposed the safeguarding by a documentary arrangement. The annexes elucidate a sample of the collections. Through the narrative construction, this study concerned to safeguarding the heritage material and imaterial of the couple in order to understand the established relationships of a life between cultures. In front of the impossibility of analysis of all material representations, collections collected by the couple, the objective of this work fixed in contextualize historically space/time cuts, fragments of youth experiences, academic formation, professional activity, political and cultural performance linked to this Brazilianpolish identity.
