Em função disso, foi proposta a criação de um 'Livro' envolvendo os eixos temáticos centrais referentes à História do Rio Grande do Sul, intitulado 'Roteiro para Estudos da História do Rio Grande do Sul'. dc.description.abstractThe theme of the study is related to the Tertúlia Mestre Project (PTM) which is developed at Escola Mestre Santa Bárbara. The realization of the PTM is justified, as it has the purpose of welcoming the teaching of the History of Rio Grande do Sul in the planning of the School as a proposal for historical research, in the understanding of the construction of the culture and identity of Rio Grande do Sul; and in the assembly of the choreography presentations, which makes it an interdisciplinary project, as it combines history, literature, music and dance. The objective of the study was to analyze the research works developed by the high school classes at Escola Mestre Santa Bárbara and which were presented at the event for the Tertúlia Mestre Project, held in 2016. To meet the objective, the theoretical foundation was initially developed building concepts of Rio Grande do Sul identity, memory and myth; the gaucho and his resignification; the invention of traditions; the traditionalism and the culture of Rio Grande do Sul; the qualification of history teaching; and meaningful learning. The research environment was the Escola Mestre Santa Bárbara, located in the city of Bento Gonçalves/RS, which holds more than a thousand students in the three shifts. It was identified that the PTM was created in 2014 and underwent some modifications in 2015 and is carried out from March to October with the classes of high school students, in the age groups between 14 and 19 years old. PTM's activities take place both in and outside the classroom, encouraging greater student participation in research and choreography presentations at events, and it also ends up arousing the attention of the local community. In the analysis of the 2016 PTM, it was identified that the major problem lies in the research of the material, with 60% of the sources being consulted by students on non-scientific and / or historiographic sites, which reinforce common sense and collective memory, among other aspects. As a result, it was proposed to create a 'Book' involving the central thematic axes referring to the History of Rio Grande do Sul, entitled 'Roadmap for the Study of the History of Rio Grande do Sul'.
