| dc.description | Esta monografia tece reflexões e busca compreender de modo geral o uso das ilustrações presentes nos livros infantis inseridas nas aulas de arte. A proposta do trabalho é analisar e pensar o conceito de arte, o progresso da linguagem, os signos linguísticos e visuais, leitura de imagens e a relação da arte e da ilustração, promovendo o estudo sobre a leitura de imagens presentes nos livros infantis e sua importância no meio educacional. Esse trabalho foi constituído com base em fontes bibliográficas e a coleta das informações foi realizada através da pesquisa e leitura de textos sobre os temas referentes à literatura e arte. Para isso, a pesquisa inicialmente analisa questões históricas da arte e da literatura infantil e, em seguida, aborda alguns autores que exemplificam essas experiências visuais, bem como a necessidade da leitura de imagem na escola, contribuindo para a alfabetização visual. Logo após, há algumas sugestões de atividades voltadas aos mediadores culturais, com indicações de práticas que possibilitam o trabalho de análise com ilustrações. Conclui-se a importância então, de trabalhá-las como um sistema de experiências visuais, para formular significados, promovendo a integração e a habilidade de contextualizar e interpretar, ressignificando o cotidiano do educando. | dc.description.abstract | This monograph weaves reflections and seeks to understand in general the use of illustrations present in children's books inserted in art classes. The purpose of the work is to analyze and think about the concept of art, the progress of language, linguistic and visual signs, image reading and the relationship between art and illustration, promoting the study of the reading of images present in children's books and its importance in the educational environment. This work was based on bibliographic sources and the collection of information was carried out through research and reading of texts on themes related to literature and art. For this, the research initially analyzes historical issues of children's art and literature and then approaches some authors who exemplify these visual experiences, as well as the need for image reading at school, contributing to visual literacy. Afterwards, there are some suggestions for activities aimed at cultural mediators, with indications of practices that enable the work of analysis with illustrations. It concludes the importance of working them as a system of visual experiences, to formulate meanings, promoting integration and the ability to contextualize and interpret, giving new meaning to the student's daily life.
