| dc.description | O impeachment de Dilma Rousseff, em 2016, é um dos fatos políticos brasileiros mais importantes do século. O assunto colocou o país em estado de ebulição. Os veículos de comunicação, imersos nesse contexto, repercutiram o tema. Nesse sentido, propõe-se estudar a ética jornalística implícita nas reportagens das revistas CartaCapital e VEJA, publicadas no período do processo que resultou na destituição da ex-presidente. O referencial teórico envolve temáticas relacionadas a ética, responsabilidade, isenção e deontologia jornalística, linha editorial do jornalismo político, legislação vigente no Brasil e as características das reportagens que exploram esse tema. A metodologia utilizada baseia-se na análise de conteúdo (qualitativa). Como principal resultado, destaca-se que a ética jornalística esteve presente com maior incidência e relevância no conteúdo publicado por CartaCapital, quando comparado ao que fora publicado, no mesmo período, por VEJA. | dc.description.abstract | Dilma Rousseff's impeachment in 2016 is one of the most important Brazilian political events of the century. The subject put the country in a state of boiling. The communication vehicles, immersed in this context, reverberated the theme. In this sense, it is proposed to study the journalistic ethics implicit in the reports of the magazines CartaCapital and VEJA, published during the period of the process that resulted in the removal of the former president. The theoretical framework involves topics related to ethics, responsibility, exemption and journalistic deontology, editorial line of political journalism, legislation in force in Brazil and the characteristics of the reports that explore this theme. The methodology used is based on the (qualitative) content analysis. As a main result, it should be noted that journalistic ethics was present with greater incidence and relevance in the content published by CartaCapital, when compared to that published in the same period by VEJA.
