Poesia: uma educação que escapa

Abstract

The research Poetry: an education that escapes is part of the Research Line History, Philosophy and Education, within the scope of the study group Critical Pedagogy, Critique, and Difference (PPGEDU/UCS). The investigation asks: How to show a poetry in education? With this research question, a method through poetry is designed, traversed by the experiences of poetry by the art-educator who writes between literature, photography, education, and the multiple spaces where life pulsates and flits like a butterfly. Poetry is not just a theme, nor just a method; it is also the tessitura (texture/structure) and the event of this research. The dissertation text, starting from a poetic manifesto, is composed of five research movements that are expressed in the summary, presented as follows: I – Daninha (Weed/Vagrant): presentation of the cartographer and introduction to the research; II – Fórceps (Forceps): triggering of the disquietude of the investigative process; III – Entre poética e poesia (Between poetics and poetry): Dance with me, an invitation to the poetic dance of writing; IV – Forjando a poesia (Forging poetry): conceptual traces that wander between poetics and poetry. Pedagogy V – Devaneio Manifesto (Manifest Daydream): Ballad for nuestra poesia (our poetry), the composition of a poetic, political statement that affirms poetry in the midst of life. The research responds to the investigation by unfolding itself, revealing that poetry in education eludes established structures, evades rigid methodologies, and asserts itself through the attempt at political mobilization. Poetry in education-uncontainable-aims to tear open fissures, insinuating itself into passages where it may vibrate and proliferate. This study intensifies and celebrates the paths previously opened by thinkers such as Corazza (2014, 2015, 2019) and Valéry (2025). The text proposes a repertoire of poetic traces that destabilize, traverse, and unsettle, manifesting as a synesthetic and optical presence. It invites the reader into a text-poem, which renders this research a rhizome between science, art, reverie, manifesto, and passageways. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
