Um seguimento de pesquisa da robótica é a Interação Criança-Robô (cIHR). Este trabalho visa avaliar as interações de robôs com crianças e suas aplicações na educação infantil. Para isso, foram aplicados experimentos com um humanoide contando uma história a um grupo de crianças que havia tido contato com o robô dois anos antes. A pesquisa apontou que a idade é um fator que exerce influência na interação com o robô. De modo geral, as crianças se aproximaram do robô ao longo do experimento, interagiram com o mesmo e puderam abstrair informações da história. Desta forma, os robôs, particularmente os humanoides, podem ser utilizados na educação e seu uso deve crescer, conforme aumentam as pesquisas com interação social e autonomia. Abstract
A segment of robotics research is the Child-Robot Interaction. This work aims to evaluate the interactions between robots and children and their applications in early childhood education. For this to happen, experiments with a humanoid were applied, it would tell a story to a group of children who had had contact with the robot two years before. The research pointed out that age is a factor that influences the interaction with the robot. In general, children approached the robot throughout the experiment, interacted with it and they were able to abstract information from history. In this way, robots, particularly humanoids, can be used in education and their use should grow, as they increase the research with social interaction and autonomy. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
