| dc.description | Este trabalho apresenta a análise dos topônimos que denominam os vinte e seis bairros e quatro distritos de Farroupilha, RS. O principal objetivo de nosso estudo foi identificar e classificar os topônimos assim como explicitar os principais temas motivadores que determinaram os mesmos. Foram analisados trinta nomes. Os resultados da pesquisa são apresentados através do preenchimento de fichas lexicográfico-toponímicas, modelo proposto por Maria Vicentina de Paula do Amaral Dick, pesquisadora que fundamenta grande parte de nossa pesquisa através dos princípios teóricos da toponímia, os quais foram por ela estudados e adaptados à realidade brasileira. Como principal resultado da pesquisa constata-se o fato de grande parte do território cultural dos imigrantes italianos que ocuparam a região em estudo ter sido mantida através dos nomes dos lugares por eles habitados. Procurou-se também investigar os nomes que foram substituídos por outros ao longo dos anos e os motivos de tais alterações. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract | This text presents the analysis of toponyms that name the twenty six neighborhoods and four districts of Farroupilha, RS. The main objective of our study was to identify and classify the toponyms and explain the main themes motivators that determine them. We analyzed thirty names.The search results are displayed by filling lexicographical toponymic chips, the model of them is the same proposed by Maria Vicentina de Paula do Amaral Dick, a researcher who contributed much for our research through the theoretical principles of toponymy, which were studied and adapted by her for the Brazilian reality. The main result of the research we cite is the fact that much of the cultural territory of the Italian immigrants who occupied the region under study have been maintained through the names of the places they inhabited. We also sought to investigate the names that have been replaced by others over the years and the reasons for such changes. | en |
