Este trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre o fotógrafo Geraldo de Barros e o período modernista no qual ele se insere, marcado pela liberdade da experimentação de novas linguagens. O objetivo central deste estudo é analisar sua série fotográfica Fotoformas e investigar como, através das diferentes técnicas, o fotógrafo cria composições consideradas abstratas. A partir do embasamento teórico, foi produzida uma série fotográfica realizada através das técnicas estudadas, tendo como objetivo principal a abstração. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
Resumo
This paper presents a study of the photographer Geraldo de Barros and the modernist period in which he is inserted, marked by the freedom of experimentation with new languages. The main objective of this study is to analyze his photographic series Fotoformas and investigate how, through different techniques, the photographer creates compositions considered abstract.
