Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresenta uma breve pesquisa sobre a história da banda desenhada e as suas manifestações ao redor do globo, como na Ásia, Europa e América. São apresentados criadores que tiveram grande importância para o meio da banda desenhada e que, da mesma forma, influenciaram a produção artística aqui desenvolvida. De forma especial, o trabalho apresenta uma breve abordagem sobre Homero, o poeta grego que trouxe a influência moral para o ocidente, e que, numa leitura específica do autor deste TCC, manifesta-se nos quadrinhos. O trabalho também apresenta análises do conteúdo de três graphic novels: Watchmen, 300 e Maus e de três mangás: Vinland Saga, Shingeki no Kyojin e Berserk. Por fim, o motivo principal deste trabalho, a obra autoral END, juntamente aos processos e influências de sua criação. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
Abstract
This Course Conclusion Paper presents a brief research on the history of comics and its manifestations around the globe, as in Asia, Europe and America. We present creators who were of great importance to the medium of comics and who, likewise, influenced the artistic production developed here. In a special way, the work presents a brief approach about Homer, the Greek poet who brought moral influence to the West, and who, in a specific reading by the author of this TCC, manifests himself in the comics. The work also presents analyzes of the content of three graphic novels: Watchmen, 300 and Maus and three manga: Vinland Saga, Shingeki no Kyojin and Berserk. Finally, the main reason for this work, the authorial work END, together with the processes and influences of its creation. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
