A evolução do direito desportivo e a importância da aplicação de ações afirmativas no incentivo da atuação profissional de mulheres no futebol brasileiro

Abstract

This course completion work aims to investigate the evolution of Brazilian sports law, verifying the need for more specific legislation and the existence of affirmative actions that bring greater encouragement and support to women who work in Soccer, promoting and disseminating female participation. It has been observed that Soccer is a phenomenon that excites and captivates from an early age, and currently the theme related to female professional performance in the modality is being debated more and more, proving to be a great conversion to the current Sports Law. Thus, an interview was applied to professionals in the field of Soccer, through a questionnaire, in order to verify the possible challenges and difficulties for those who work in the area, mainly by women, analyzing whether there is a difference between professionals due to gender, including so what aspects should be considered for these professionals to be successful in their function and in the performance within the modality, regardless of gender. In addition, some general aspects of Sports Law were observed, on female participation in Sport in general, as well as specifically in Soccer, in addition to the main barriers faced by women active in sports, in the social, sports and Soccer fields, as also the contribution of Affirmative Actions in the promotion of female participation in sports and Soccer. This is a study with a bibliographic review and data collection through interviews with subsequent quantitative and qualitative analysis of the answers. From the research, it was possible to perceive that although there are still difficulties, female participation in soccer has been evolving and growing every day, increasing the number of girls and women who practice or act professionally in the modality. Still, it remains clear the need for specific actions that bring greater support, investment, visibility and opportunities, encouraging female participation in Soccer, fully and free of prejudice.
