Uma instituição de educação infantil e sua história, a Nostri Bambini (Vila Flores/RS, 1999-2019)

Abstract

This dissertation has as its reference the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education Nostri Bambini, located in the municipality of Vila Flores/RS, about which I researched the educational and historical trajectory. The time frame, the period from 1999, when the school began its work, until 2019, the year that precedes a significant movement of modification in its pedagogical-methodological proposal, which brings about significant transformations in school and children's cultures, in addition to being the period prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The objective was to research how the historical formation process took place, in the period already mentioned, of the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education Nostri Bambini, in the municipality of Vila Flores/RS. Theoretical support was obtained from Cultural History linked to the History of Education, with contributions from Burke (1992, 2005), Magalhães (2004), Chartier (2010), in addition to Halbwachs (1990), Pesavento (2008, 2013), Luchese (2018), Décio Gatti (2016). The problem expressed in the question that led to the investigation was: How did the historical and institutional formation process of the Nostri Bambini Municipal School of Vila Flores/RS take place, from its inauguration in 1999 to 2019, taking into account the children's cultures that constituted and still constitute this educational system? The methodology was based on Oral History, which made it possible to carry out 12 interviews, with former managers, teachers, former students, parents of former students and residents of Vila Flores/RS. After the interviews were transcribed, the school documents, in addition to photographs, were analyzed in detail, based on Historical Documentary Analysis. The analysis of the documents was compared with theory and authorship, resulting in the analytical structure presented. The municipality of Vila Flores, predominantly inhabited by Italian descendants, was emancipated in 1988. Vila Flores founded the first municipal Early Childhood Education school in 1999. As results, children's cultures, pedagogical practices, as well as the spaces, times and subjects. With this, it can be said that at the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education Nostri Bambini different children's cultures emerged, evidenced through make-believe games, nursery rhymes, theatrical performances, pedagogical practices based on storytelling, proposals with paints , torn papers, wide-ranging materials, etc. In addition to these, cultures of celebrating commemorative dates such as Easter, Christmas and Graduation Ceremonies, seeking to unite family and school, marked times in education. Another factor to be highlighted is the daily routine present in the aforementioned EMEI, which, in order to guarantee smooth operation, followed pre-established schedules. In addition to this, there are significant structural changes that have occurred at the school. Regarding physical spaces, several significant renovations were carried out to expand the building, aiming for convenience and comfort for individuals. Such notes could be noted through the memories narrated by professionals and other subjects who were part of the school's history. Finally, it is possible to state that the research institution experienced delicate periods, especially due to its physical structure. However, it managed to meet existing demands, with the resources available at those times, ensuring the integral development of the children who were enrolled there. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
