Reflexões contemporâneas sobre a formação a partir do tensionamento histórico entre civilidade e barbárie

Abstract

This research has as central theme and title Contemporary Reflections on Formation and Barbarism. Its main objective is to understand the formative dimension that is present in the contemporary modes of expression of the historical tension between civilization and barbarism. The problem of research lies in understanding the formative dimension that is present in the contemporary modes of expression of the tension between civilization and barbarism? It is justified insofar as it is found that in the past and in human history barbarism has always been present in many forms. From the point of view of its procedural technique, it is an eminently bibliographical research and uses the analytical method and the hermeneutical method in an articulated way, given that, according to this author's understanding, they are the ones that provide the best apprehension about the research object. Thus, it is structured in a set of different authors and works linked to the common thematic approach: training. In this authorial and focus group, the theorists who base the work, such as Rousseau, Adorno, Horkheimer, Gadamer and Mattéi, are exemplified, among others. In this sense, we analyze the main schools and ancient and current movements aiming at the historical and philosophical understanding of formation, the civilizational tensions and the reflection of the role of contemporary education in the formation of barbarism. From this plastic, the arguments are extracted in order to construct the proper understandings and possible conclusions. Thus, the way of knowing this work (constituting the philosophical character), aims at the science and the conscience about the study, in these multiple and faceted relations between the subject and the object of knowledge, expressed by the language and approaching the understanding of the reality that one wants to understand. Therefore, there is no exhaustive result of the research, but rather, studies and reflections that may serve as contributions and supports for other reflections on the formation of barbarism.
