O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a poluição ambiental causada pelo necrochorume, temática ainda pouco debatida, mas de elevada relevância sob as perspectivas ambiental, sanitária e, principalmente, jurídica. O necrochorume, subproduto líquido da decomposição cadavérica, apresenta elevado potencial poluidor, podendo contaminar o solo, os lençóis freáticos e comprometer a saúde pública. O estudo tem como objetivo geral discutir a necessidade de adequação da legislação ambiental vigente à realidade dos cemitérios já existentes e daqueles a serem implantados, destacando a importância da fiscalização e da responsabilidade ambiental. A pesquisa evidenciou que a ausência de normas específicas e de controle efetivo contribui para a degradação ambiental, com reflexos indiretos nas mudanças climáticas e no equilíbrio ecológico. O trabalho buscou fomentar o debate jurídico e ambiental acerca da necessidade de medidas preventivas e normativas mais eficazes. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
Abstract
The present study aims to analyze the environmental pollution caused by necroleachate, a topic that is still little discussed but highly relevant from environmental, sanitary, and especially legal perspectives. Necrochorume, a liquid byproduct of cadaveric decomposition, has a high polluting potential and may contaminate the soil, groundwater, and compromise public health. The general objective of this study is to discuss the need to adapt current environmental legislation to the reality of existing cemeteries and those to be implemented, highlighting the importance of inspection and environmental responsibility. The research showed that the absence of specific regulations and effective control contributes to environmental degradation, with indirect impacts on climate change and ecological balance. The study sought to foster legal and environmental debate regarding the need for more effective preventive and regulatory measures. [resumo fornecido pelo autor]
